Wisdom Wednesday

This weeks wisdom happens to do with skateboarding this week. I see allot of people getting very confused when it comes to nollie 180s. I’m going to try to clear things up for you. And don’t worry, many people have a hard time with this concept. Ok, so if you are regular footed, or left foot forward, and you want to do a nollie backside 180 then you are going to turn the same way you would as if you were doing a regular backside 180. Nothing changes. Same with frontside, you go the same way you would normally turn. I don’t know where the whole myth of things changing around when you go nollie but it is just not true. I hope this helped. No go forth and enjoy this beautiful weather.

P.S. I included a very detailed drawing to help with this explanation in case you still dont get it. It is very clear and should help out.

Happy March!

March is a great month! Its right at the end of winter, good weather is in sight. The word “March” come from the Roman ” Martius”. March was the 1st month of the Roman calendar and was named after Mars, the god of war! Another great fact about March is that the flower narcissus, or wild daffodil, is associated with it because it blooms in early spring and stops before Easter. Also in 44 BC a bloody event known as the Ides of March, forever linked March 15 with prophecies of doom! What happened on this day you ask? Well March 15th is the day that Julius Caesar was killed by a group of prominent Romans in the Senate House.

March is also the month my dad was born, Happy B-Day old man!

Well enjoy March and everything its associated with.

F***ing Snow!!

Well mother nature messed everything up again. Due to the weather the KeyStone demo will be canceled. We are going to get those guys back up here in April so keep an eye out for the new date.

Birth Day Celebration

Last night we went to JRoos for Artifacts birth day. There was Beauty and the Beast cupcakes, singing, dancing, spitballs, naked robots, all the highly intoxicated older women you could ever want to see molesting a phallic statue, a cute waitress, and buffalo chicken pizza. Thanks to all the friends that came out. Without your help and support Artifact wouldn’t be around. We would also like to thank you, the customers, for if it wasn’t for your insatiable addiction to skateboarding and breaking your boards we would be selling rollerblades instead. So thank you!
