Just wanted to let you guys know some more about Friday night. The session starts at 9pm and the contest will start around 10pm. You will pay the normal admission fee for the night, $10, and the contests will be free. You will not be allowed to skate in the contest if you have not payed to skate that night. There will be best trick contest down the stairs and the rail. There will also be a game of Sk8 Dice. We will be grilling all night so please come down and support your favorite skate park. The night will be sponsored by Haven, Artifact Skate Shop, Hatchet Wound, 5 Boro, Low Card, and many more.
There will be a Rail jam on Friday May 29th during the late session that starts at 9pm. A new rail will be built just for this contest and will be left up all weekend. I am not allowed to give away details about the rail, but Ican tell you that it will be bigger and longer than the rail thats there now. $10 admission to skate all night, there will be no additional cost for the contest. All the money we make that night will go to the completion of the bowl at Haven. So please tell everyone you know about the contest and get down there and skate. There will be burgers and hot dogs on the grill all night.
There will also be a game of S.K.A.T.E. for you younger guys on Saturday, May 30th. The session starts at 9am and the game will start around 10am. Again, all proceeds go to the completion of the bowl.
Haven Has a deadline of June 13th for the bowl so we need everyone to come and help us out.
We have a new deal going on with Haven Skate Park, if you buy a new complete from the shop you get One free session at the park. You can use it right then or save it for a rainy day. Its a pretty good deal.
Also keep checking the site or Havens site for upcoming contests this summer. I think there is even a contest in the works for the end of the month. I think its going to be another best trick contest. Cash prizes and a huge product toss. Entrance fee for the contest will go to the completion of the bowl.
Since this shop caters to you, the skaters, I want your opinion. I am going to be getting in Dekline Skate shoes soon and I want some input on which ones to carry. Go to Dekline to check out what they have and let us know. I personally like the Blye, which is Jason Adams shoe.
Tonight is the 9 p.m.- 12:30 a.m. session at Haven Skate Park. I’ll be there! If thats not enough to make you want to go then you should really look deep down in your heart and decide why you’re even skating in the first place.

We went to Boston last weekend. Everyone had a great time, except for me! I ended up rolling my ankle about an hour after we got there. Lucky for me I have a great team and they landed some great stuff. Here’s just a taste of what went down.
